The Golf District is one of five districts and hosts the 36-hole Hamptons Championship Golf Course, the largest in Africa; as well as 4,800 homes for doctors, nurses, and other residents of the City.

Golf Course

The golf course envelops the natural beauty of the lush green rolling hills, large granite boulders, and fast flowing rivers and streams; creating a refreshing yet challenging retreat for experienced and inexperienced players alike. Upon finishing a round, golfers can relax at a private bar and restaurant at the Hamptons Golf Club; take a massage at the spa, swim at the club’s resort-style pool or take advantage of other members only amenities including tennis courts and fitness center. 4,800 residences are currently underway along the 36-hole golf course. The homes will be occupied primarily by healthcare and technology staff and their families who will either own their home or rent from other investors in the Hamptons Golf Resort and Residences

Resort & Residences

Hamptons Golf Resort and Residences, whose construction is currently in progress, borders the Golf District and is situated in the Plaza District. The family friendly resort will have 1,500 rooms and include 7-star amenities that will make MMTC an ultra luxury travel destination for medical tourists and other leisure and business visitors frequenting the city. The resort will have 6 restaurants, 4 spas, a lap pool and a resort pool, a golf club, 2 tennis courts, a helipad, an ice skating rink and high end shopping along the Hamptons Plaza to its East. The Resort will employ 300 permanent workers when complete creating opportunities that will uplift many of the community members.

MMTC is the first city in Kenya designed with high technology infrastructure that guarantees reliability and high quality of life to its residents and visitors. Many current residents who already own homes in the city are eligible for connection to fiber and water. This $2 billion city will employ more than 20,000 workers when completed, maintaining its status as a key economic hub in East and Central Africa.
