The Grid District is one of five districts and contains most
of the City’s stand alone residences including 3 to 4
bedroomed marionettes and 5-7 bedroomed mansions
along the Boulevard.
It runs 3 kilometers from First Street, Second Street,
Third Street, continuing all the way to Twelfth Street;
forming a grid like system along the Boulevard. Wide
paved roads are accompanied by solar street lights
illuminating the streets and intersections from dusk to
dawn to allow residents to exercise or move about freely
late into the night. Some of the completed residential
homes are owned by resident investors including some of the nation’s prominent citizens. Many rent
their homes to healthcare workers of the 5,000 bed
Hamptons Hospital through the management services
of the Golf Resort.
MMTC is upgrading old village houses to modern homes with plumbing and electricity and helping many Kenyans achieve the new Kenyan dream. The residents are all new Kenyan millionaires as their land values have risen with the growth of the City. MMTC is a US $2 billion City and will directly employ more than 20,000 workers when completed; making MMTC a key economic hub in East and Central Africa
